J is a a JD candidate at Cardozo Law School, NYC. As the IT Chair on the Cardozo Intellectual Property Law Society (2015-16) he is active is organizing various events. He is organizing a CLE event on Inter Partes Reviews in the Spring. He is also organizing a panel on international intellectual property practice, and International Trade Commission § 337 practice.
He is an active member of various Bar Associations. This year, he is excited to be the AIPLA Student Liaison at Cardozo. He is organizing various events at Cardozo with the NYSBA. Prior to enrolling into the JD program, J completed a rigorous five-year law program from a tier one law school in India. He is admitted to practice law in Gujarat, India. He is a gold medalist in Intellectual Property law.
J practices a client focused approach toward problem solving. His client service skills have been honed during his experience as a legal advisor for a healthcare provider. His research, writing, and communication skill-set have been expanded at the Federal Trade Commission. He uses the law as a negotiating instrument in third party dealings.
J seeks to be a productive part of a legal business where he can contribute substantially to the business and the needs of the clients. His areas of interest include Intellectual Property, IP litigation, patent litigation, Hatch-Waxman litigation, ITC § 337 practice, Antitrust Law, IP & Antitrust litigation, and IP and Antitrust aspects of M&As. He is most interested in patent practice and litigation.
