I want to be the voice of the Radio.
Although the course I am studying at Harlow College doesn't give me the opportunity to express my enthusiasm for being on the radio, I am still very interested and always have been. Radio is thriving with new talent and original ideas, which I am very capable of. I am excited to start a course at University, not just for the course but to learn new things about myself and my life.
During my first year at college I was a Learner Representative, this included going to meetings with other students and tutors, to discuss certain subjects and issues that can be improved to help the students all around the college. I like to get my opinion across, and there is no better way than being on the radio where thousands of people will be listening and interacting. I work well independently and I am a reliable team player. I have contributed to making a Music Video, this was a team effort. My bubbly personality has helps me contribute well to team activities, such as doing an animation project with a primary school. We had to help children at the age of 10/11 to produce an animation piece on honesty and trust. We had to work with them to produce a 1 minute worth of animation footage. I found it fun, and easy as I have younger siblings so I know how to work with them. My creative skills have been developed and used on my media course, by doing photography modules, gaming modules, filming, and assignments. By going to University and studying more, I am determined to proceed in a career in Media, whether it be Radio, TV, Film or Photography.
