I wake up every morning to the most beautiful face I have ever seen. My collie mix, Zaza, is the sunshine of my life, and whatever I do is more fun when he is with me. I come home in between classes to play a quick round of fetch with him before I whisk away back to campus. When the weather is nice my roommate and I take our dogs on hikes around the Athens area. It is so exhilarating to see Sweet Za running like a deer through the forest.

Zaza is the perfect dog for me because he loves to run around outside and explore the wilderness, but he spends most of his day snoozing around the house. It is great to come home after a long day and cuddle up with him and watch some Netflix. He is the ideal little cuddle monkey, and he is my shining light when I need him most.

I am also thankful enough to live with the sweetest, most down-to-earth girls out there. My roommates, Lauren and Laura, make me get out of my comfort zone in the best ways, and I have never met a group of gals who I have been thrilled to see every day. On our slower days, we will do craft projects or maybe just dance to 90's pop music in our kitchen. I know that I will never see a dull day so long as I am living with these two ladies.
