My name's Janette, otherwise known as SimplyMe Jah-netteon Youtube! I'm an Art and Literature student, recent Natural Hair Youtuber and soon to be Vlogger. I'm from the Caribbean in case you were wondering :) I speak both French & English.

I uploaded my first video on Youtube in June 2014 and never intended on making more than one video! About a year later, on April 24 2015, I uploaded my second video out of boredom and eventually started enjoying recording videos and editing.

My very first upload was of my "Natural Hair Journey on a Budget" but I soon realized that my friends and other people were inspired by my story and decided to "go natural" also. The fact that I could inspire people and also learn a lot from them made me take it more seriously.

So, here I am a year later (after my second video), still sharing my journey, and working on upgrading my quality and content for those who support me. I couldn't be more happy with my decision to go natural!

I've started a blog, a facebook fan page and joined Youtube communities in which I've befriended people all over the world!
