Jaber Badwan

Award-winning Director of Photography and Producer 6with extensive experience producing

high-impact current affairs and investigative content from Gaza. I was born and raised in Gaza

and I have dedicated myself to showing the world the reality of life under constant bombardment

and attack by the Israeli military, documenting the war crimes and capturing the strength and

resilience of Palestinians in the face of unparalleled adversity.

My work has been shown by international broadcasters across the globe and recently awarded

Emmy Award (Current Affairs), BAFTA Craft – Emerging Talent, Rory Peck Impact

Award, One World Media Award, and the British Journalism Award for Foreign Affairs.

I am experienced working closely with Directors and Producers outside of Gaza, securing access

and organizing shoots by myself in the incomparably complicated and dangerous situation all

Palestinian journalists find themselves. I am confident and experienced shooting with presenters,

observationally, as well as setting up and conducting interviews on my own. I pride myself on

being able to capture moments of beauty, humanity and humour amongst the horrors, getting to

the heart of the story. My globally recognized films includes Kill Zone: Inside Gaza and Gaza: Doctors Under Attack, both internationally recognized with top honors.
