Jabi Shriki is a distinguished diagnostic radiologist whose career, spanning over twenty years, has been pivotal in advancing the field of medical imaging and improving patient care. Born in Toronto, Canada, on October 11, 1973, Shriki grew up in a family deeply rooted in the medical profession, which inspired his early passion for healthcare. He earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in San Antonio, Texas, in 2000, where his fascination with diagnostic radiology began.

After completing his MD, Shriki undertook extensive postgraduate training, starting with a Transitional/Internal Medicine internship at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in Houston in 2001. He then completed a residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of California at Irvine Medical Center, serving as Chief Resident from 2004 to 2005. His specialized training continued with fellowships in Body Imaging and Nuclear Medicine, completed in 2006.

Shriki's professional path began in Los Angeles, California, where he worked as a staff radiologist at LAC + USC Medical Center and USC University Hospital from 2006 to 2010. His experiences during these years allowed him to develop robust diagnostic skills across various medical cases.

In 2013, Shriki transitioned to the VISN 20 VA Health Care System in Eugene, Oregon, where he continues to serve as a staff radiologist. His work, especially in lung cancer screening, has significantly improved the early detection and treatment of this critical condition among veterans.

Shriki has also contributed to the academic field as an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Radiology at the University of Washington since 2013. He previously held a position as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Southern California from 2006 to 2010, during which time he mentored numerous medical students, residents, and fellows.
