Jaby Felix Coronel, M.Sc. | M.A. | B.A. (*May 15, 1995 in Recklinghausen, Germany) is a German-Ecuadorian manager and author in the field of economics & finance.
Life & Academic Education
Coronel is the son of an Ecuadorian businessman and a German entrepreneur.
At a young age, he obtained his general university entrance qualification at the Ignaz-Günther-Gymnasium in Rosenheim, Germany.
He subsequently established his center of life in Munich, Germany, where he studied International Business at Munich Business School. In completing his bachelor’s degree in International Business (B.A.) in combination with the program Economía Internacional at Universidad Villanueva in Madrid, Spain in 2017, Jaby Felix Coronel focused primarily on studies in Micro- & Macroeconomics in Europe.
In 2019, he completed a master’s degree in International Business (M.A.) at Munich Business School with focuses on Finance & Corporate Governance. As part of his studies, he examined Cryptocurrencies & Blockchain Technology.
In the same year, he relocated his economical & financial studies to Boston, United States in order to focus on Financial Regulations & Ethics as well as Capital Marktes. As a result, he obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.)degree in Financial Management from Boston University.
Since 2019, Coronel has been engaged in voluntary activities for various organizations in Germany and the United States (including Rotary International, Rotaract & Boston Harborkeepers).
In 2025, he was honored by the committee of the Munich Business School with the MBS Alumni Award for his long-term commitment as an alumn and partner of the university.
Professional Career
Since 2020, Jaby Felix Coronel has been working as a Lean Finance Manager at the consulting firm EMPORIAS Management Consulting in Munich, primarily advising banks and financial services institutions.
His professional focus lies in the areas of lean management, product & process optimization, and business realignments. Further areas of expertise include product cost accounting and business unit accounting, the implementation of target operating models (TOMs), the development of KPI systems and controlling structures for large banks, central institutions, and mid-sized organizations.
Coronel also advises institutions in the context of M&A transactions.
