Hello, I'm Steven Jaccard, a passionate Oregon-based photographer dedicated to wildlife, nature, and the great outdoors. I firmly believe in the power of photography to raise awareness about our incredible world.

What sets me apart is my unwavering commitment to ethical photography. I prioritize the well-being and preservation of the creatures and locations I photograph, which includes maintaining a respectful distance, avoiding flash, preserving their habitats, leaving no trace, and refraining from geo-tagging or disclosing specific wildlife locations.

I also strive to take a sustainable and ethical approach in my personal life. I am mindful of my environmental impact and take steps to reduce it. For example, I support local agriculture by shopping for locally produced products. Additionally, I choose to consume a diet focused on minimizing my impact on the planet and animals. To further support my commitment to sustainability, I also make an effort to purchase goods from local artists and artisans. By doing so, I can help my local community while minimizing the environmental impact of my purchases. I aim to continue cultivating a deeper understanding of ecological issues, reflect on my choices and actions, and make sustainable decisions that benefit the planet and its animal inhabitants.

I have had the privilege of showcasing my artwork in galleries across Europe, the United States, and Australia.
