I am a visual artist and photographic educator.

As a visual artist I move between photography, painting, drawing, and mixed media. I am also interested in creative writing and how these mediums work together to better communicate the concepts I am exploring. Currently, my work revolves around ideas of memory/time, collections, and the domestic. I feel that each medium offers different possibilities for communication.

I am interested in process, metaphor, and narrative. I received a BFA from Slippery Rock University, an MFA in from Texas Tech University, and I will graduate with an M.Ed from Carlow University at the end of 2020. As an artist who is interested in collecting and how this process relates to the memory, photography was a natural direction. Photographers collect time and moments. The photographic process is an important part of my creative process. I create visual poetry and pieces.
