From the tip of my pencil to the surface of the paper, from the tap of my feet in sync with the beat, art is engraved in my soul. Being born into a family with vast talents that showcases various types of art, sketching and dancing are the two talents that open creative juices which run through my heart and mind. Indulging in my talents allows me to spend my spare time without stress and worries, gives me serenity and a sense of freedom.

Learning Indian Classical dance for 12 years has taught me a deep understanding of my roots and culture. Sketching, without boundaries, has taught me to connect with other cultures and roots. These connections, ideas, and emotions create meaningful experiences in my life.

These connections inspire me to take my talents to the next level. Practicing my talents throughout the years has allowed me to bring both talents to work together in unison. My emotions and imagination intertwine like brush strokes on a canvas. Dancing through sketching and sketching while dancing is my goal that is still being crafted for perfection.

Throughout the years, my talents have helped me in uncharted paths and enriched my journey. And again, I hope to use my talents as one of the ways to keep me connected and strengthen me as I begin a new chapter of my life as a college student at UGA.
