Jack Cavanagh
Artist in Brisbane City, Australia
The world is really complex. If you think it isn’t, than you are mistaken. However Jack Cavanagh is quite simple. In fact you and he would get along reasonably well.
Jack is the best type of person; he is a musician, composer and audio engineer. His credits include drum performance and composition for metal band Spherian’s upcoming Artifact album. He is also the head of audio at Humble Sage Games. His talents include playing the drums musically, singing, composition in any style, recording and production, interactive audio implementation and a friendly manner. He is fascinated by culture and the amazing world of senses that we inhabit.
He also has a passion for teaching, which he realized as a drum teacher at the Wingham Music Centre a long time ago. He has since taught English in Japan, a place where he developed a love of spicy rice crackers mixed in with peanuts, communal bathing with tranquil celesta music and snow. He is currently fortunate to teach a group of Chinese kids who keep getting better every week through DaDaABC’s online classroom.
In the past Jack was the second tenor for Isabella A Cappella, for you music nerds that means that I got so sing the fifth scale degree a lot. We did two tours of Japan together and released two CDs including “Singing for our Sister”.
Jack also loves bushwalking, amateur theatre, computer games and practicing Japanese.
