Jack Harootun

The President and founder of Apex Manufacturing Company, Inc., Jack Harootun brings extensive experience in aerospace manufacturing to his work as an engineer and business manager. He received qualifications to produce safety items for the United States Department of Defense through the Army, Navy, and Air Force. Additionally, Jack Harootun saved the government significant procurement costs when he reverse engineered the sole source rotor pins and bearing stabilators of the UH-60 Black Hawk. He also developed self-lubricating liners for bearing applications that are used in the aerospace industry.
Jack Harootun graduated from California State University, Northridge, with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry. After graduating, he worked briefly for a manufacturing company in North Hollywood before founding Apex Manufacturing Company, Inc., in 1981. Since then, Jack Harootun has accomplished many achievements.
In his spare time, Mr. Harootun enjoys trout fishing, camping, and stamp collecting. He is a nature enthusiast who enjoys horseback riding in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. He has experience playing semi-professional soccer and coaching junior teams with the American Youth Soccer Organization.
