After leaving academia, I'm learning how to program to further my career as a Data Analyst (and to work towards my future career as a Data Scientist). I have experience using Greenplum, PostgreSQL, Perl (including the Perl DBI, Moose (OO Perl), and multi-threaded Perl applications), R, and PHP.

In my "copious spare time", I'm in the process of learning C, Java, Hadoop, JavaScript, and ANSI Common Lisp.
