Jack Wilson
I enjoy writing and performing music particularly the drums and also the guitar, I learned how to play the guitar through friends and also teaching myself via youtube.
I have been writing music and scores for the past four years and found reading and writing music something that came naturally.
I first started playing drums when I was 12 years-old and the band ‘Bullet for my Valentine’ sparked my interest in rock music which has continued to this day.
One of my first tastes of employment was during my work experience at school where I worked at Wilkinson’s in the warehouse some of my tasks included order picking and packing. One year during the Summer I worked at a dry cleaners where my jobs involved forming, steaming the clothes, serving customers and taking payments.
Football is a big part of my life both watching and playing, I have played football since the age of thirteen for two clubs, I started off as a right back but moved to centre back where I have captained my team.
Whilst captaining my team, I enjoyed the leadership aspect of the role, having the respect of my team mates and helping some of the other players.
I have just completed an NVQ level two course in sport and leadership at Bolton College, the next step for me is to enrol on an accountancy course at Future Skillls in Bolton.
Once I’ve completed my accountancy course I would like to start up my own firm.
