Jack Cahill
Director of Facilities, Americas in Boston, Massachusetts
As Director of Facilities at Communispace Corporation in Boston, Jack has overall responsibility for the day to day operations and planning for their corporate headquarters in Boston as well as being a resource to Communispace’s many remote offices. Jack previously managed the Communispace IT support staff, which supports the company’s technology needs.
Before joining Communispace, Jack was IT Manager for Infraredx, a rapidly growing medical device development company in Burlington, MA. At Infraredx, he managed the company's network infrastructure growth as it doubled in one year. Prior to Infraredx, Jack was the Network Administrator and Facilities Manager for a technology product development firm in Cambridge, MA.
In a past life, Jack worked as a marketing specialist for a medical services firm before focusing his attention on facilities and network management. Jack received a BA Degree in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts. During his college career, he had the opportunity to study Political Science at a German University in Freiburg, Germany – an eye opening experience that completely changed the way he looks at life in the US. Jack furthered his education by completing the Boston University Computer Career MCSE Program.
In his spare time, Jack volunteers at the Animal Rescue League socializing rescued dogs and cats. He enjoys reading, exercise, anything done on Cape Cod, movies, politics, and eating meals prepared by great chefs.
