My entrepreneurial spirit showed when I began fundraising for the RNLI at primary school. I raised £750 by organising sweet stalls, a local raffle and raising sponsorship to walk Moel Famau twice (the plan was to climb Mount Snowdon but due to bad weather, I walked up Moel Famau twice instead!).
A few years later, I began importing iPod accessories from China and selling them on a well known auction site. It was at this point that I confirmed my love of business and enterprise!
My main business is Frodsham Web; offering an affordable web and graphic design service to small businesses. I learnt the basics of web design at school when I was 13, then developed my skills independently and combined my passion for web with that of business; Frodsham Web was born! Now I continue to grow Frodsham Web while always on the lookout for new ventures!
It was my entrepreneurial background that allowed me to apply for a voluntary role as a Young Ambassador with InspirEngage - a global social enterprise working with young people to bring social enterprise and life skills to the classroom. After application, I was shortlisted out of 200 applicants and I am now one of the first 15 InspirEngage Young Ambassadors. More on my role can be found on my profile below...
Outside of business, I'm involved in Scouting starting the journey aged 6 in Beavers. Through Scouting and other commitments I've developed leadership and communication skills, teamwork mentality and using initiative. Recently I've become involved in the Cheshire West and Chester Youth Senate and become an Event First Aider.
I'm always on the lookout for new challenges/opportunities so please get in touch.
