They say I live up to the name "a jack of all trades," maybe…but my heart lies in ministry. I serve on leadership at our local pregnancy center, Clarity Solutions, as Director of the Men's Program. At home, I cherish my role as husband to Lyndsay and father to four girls now spanning middle school to college. I'm actively involved in my church, Grace Heartland Church, and Lyndsay and I love hosting retreats at cleftRock, a remarkable Christian retreat center tucked into Eastern Kentucky.
Before ministry became full-time, I ran my own business for a few years — video, websites, and consulting for local folks — and I've never really lost the itch to build something…to “think new thinks”. These days that shows up in small ways: Building with my hands, geeking out over little AI side projects, and seeing what problems they can quietly solve. When I'm not at Clarity, you might find me outdoors, hiking or camping. Nature is where I unplug and quiet my mind, and "Stop, Sit, Sip, Savor, & Share".
I am learning to value slowing down, being present, and appreciating the beauty around me. Listening and learning have become vital to my journey. I find profound meaning in the idea of restoration and enjoy exploring its many facets — my own has been shaped, more than anything, by my faith.
The work I love most is the kind that happens face to face: sitting with a dad in class, walking alongside a guy who's figuring out what kind of father he wants to be, or watching a weekend at the retreat center really provide some much needed soul care. As an extrovert, I come alive around people, and I gravitate toward encouragement — offering solutions, tools, ideas, and whatever I've learned along the way. Creativity is woven into how I serve, but relationships are the point.
Above all, my identity rests in being a follower of Jesus Christ, and my ultimate aspiration is to grow in His likeness.
