My whole life, I have been obsessed with filmmaking and the art of film. It all started when I was a kid when my Dad took me to his office at Cartoon Network. Back then, I just thought it was cool that they had legos, an Xbox, and other childish things for me to distract myself with. But as the years went on, he started to show me the interworkings of how they made the shows and movies, and I was immediately fascinated. This led my friends and me to produce hundreds of short films over the span of about 7 years. Making movies was pretty much the only thing we did with our free time, and I loved every single second of it. As we got older, our skills got more refined, and we would make movies for our AV class in High school. This included short films to producing the school news. Obviously, I love movies, and I always have, but what does that mean for my future? Right now, I am majoring in new media and entertainment studies here at UGA and plan to work in the movie or tv business as a career. So far, I have only done my core classes, but I am really excited to do courses that have to do with my major. I know there is a lot of work to be where i want to be, but I believe in myself.
