Jackie Broomfield

So I’m Jackie! I’m from a small town but I have big stories. I love how I’ve seen challenge after challenge, and I thank God daily for helping me survive those challenges. I’m strong and confident at times, and weak and insecure at others. I”m a girl/woman who’s finding myself, and learning to be a little selfish and Christlike all at the same time. I’m ME and I’m constantly reminding myself I love me, and currently undertaking my own blog to help others and mainly get my thoughts out. I’m religious and have faith, so most of my writing will have religion statements. I don’t try to force my views on others, I simply embrace who I am. The real me. I’ve battled Schizophrenic symptoms and the fears that go along with that as well as battled with, and still battle with anorexia. I’ve recently overcome a stay in the hospital that helped change my life, and my views. It has been the best event in my life thus far.

These are parts of my stories that have helped me view the world in a more beautiful way. I hope to help others view the world differently too, especially those with mental illnesses. I would love to change those in society that view mental illnesses as a weakness. I would love to inspire others to let go of fears that hold them back from being properly informed about mental illness. This is my journey, and I’m going to love it, and there will be times of frustration where I cant stand it, but all in all here’s to helping myself and others. I hope you find something that touches your heart.
