A small town girl with big dreams, I never wanted to be sitting on the porch in my old age never having had any experiences beyond....I grew up thinking I was special and I don't know why. No one ever told me, it was just something I always felt.
By the time I was in the sixth grade, I was drawing cut-out dolls with clothes for my sisters and thought I might grow up an become a fashion designer. My father bought me a used sewing machine, not to support my dream, but so I could mend his work clothes. Along the way, I encountered some great art teachers, Mr. Psaroudis being the most memorable.
