Jackie Donnelly

Seattle, Washington, United States

When I lived in Germany in the '90s, my buddies called me the "Picture Maker" (you have to say this with an Arnold accent: Pick-Chah Make-ah) and the handle stuck.

I am a long-time, well-seasoned editor by trade, moonlight as a pro photographer, and like to pretend I'm a writer. (Mainly I just string words together, file them away in a dark corner, and then read them years later thinking "Wow! I was a writer!")

I've lived in the U.S., Belgium, and Germany, and have spent copious amounts of time on the West Coast of Canada. I feel the most alive when I travel, I enjoy words better than numbers, and I occasionally swear in German. (Okay, English, too. Am a bit of a potty-mouth...)

I collect books (especially cookbooks). I'm single, live with my two cats in Seattle's Belltown neighborhood, and enjoy sci-fi novels and crime thrillers.
