Jackie Harden

From single mother, to award-winning body builder, to author, Jackie Harden is a resident of Newark, New Jersey whose many achievements include a 20 year career in public service with the Newark Public Schools District.

Passionate about health and wellness, Jackie is a certified aerobics instructor and the 2013 first place winner of the INBF Northern States Super Natural Body Building Competition – Ms. Fit Body over 40. She holds an undergraduate degree in Liberal Studies from Thomas Edison State College and a master’s degree in Management – Labor and Employment Relations from Rutgers University.

Discipline, dedication, and determination are what Jackie lives by in all her endeavors. Her first published work, “When a Lie Becomes the Truth,” is a personal memoir about deeply held family secrets and the process of exposing the lies, accepting the truth, and moving forward to find peace.
