Social Media Manager, Designer, Writer, Photographer, and Professional Overthinker in Benoni, South Africa

I’m passionate about meaningful communication, strong online communities, thoughtful storytelling, and helping organisations communicate in ways that actually sound human. I currently work in church communications and online community management, where I spend my days somewhere between strategy, creativity, troubleshooting, writing, design, pastoral sensitivity, and trying to explain for the 47th time why good communication matters.

My work lives at the intersection of ministry, digital culture, creativity, and connection. I love finding ways to use technology and design to build genuine engagement rather than just adding more noise to the internet. Whether I’m managing social media, designing graphics, writing content, photographing moments, building webpages, or helping shape online experiences, I care deeply about communication that is clear, creative, warm, and intentional.

I’m endlessly curious and probably interested in too many things at once. My creative interests include photography, digital design, branding, visual storytelling, web design, writing, typography, and content creation. I’m particularly drawn to simple but meaningful design — the kind that quietly does its job well without screaming for attention like a discount furniture advert.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me with coffee nearby, several tabs open in my brain, a camera in hand, or halfway through a book while simultaneously researching something completely unrelated. I enjoy music, clever humour, deep conversations, languages, good questions, and the occasional existential crisis brought on by bad typography or poorly designed church notices.

Languages fascinate me. I speak English, Afrikaans, and Dutch fluently, and I’m currently learning both German and Zulu - partly for the challenge, and partly because language is one of the most human forms of connection we have.
