Jackie Lowrey

I am a 20 year old military spouse, I put my husband before myself because he has already sacrifised enough for our country. If you were to ask my closest friends how they would describe me they would say that I am a fun, outgoing, inquisitive, selfless, honest, trustworthy, and generally fun person to be around. My husband and I love to go on adventures and experience new things together so we are more than overjoyed to be stationed at JBER. Alaska has so much to offer for outdoorsy folk and we can't wait to spread our wings and explore so much more than we already have since we arrived this year. Being a military wife, I am looking for a career that I can excell in; Something I am passionate about that won't be considered a "job" or "work" to me. In life, I have come across many helpless animals. I have rescued countless stranded animals to include dogs, cats, a bird, and a squirell. I am passionate in several fields and have branched out to find out what exactly suits me the best. I have learned an extremity of life and career lessons from several different programs and extracuricular activities that I have been apart of. Advanced Culinary- where I learned to cook several full course meals, Child Development-which included a pre-school where I was able to lead several activities, Fashion & Fabrics- I was taught to sew, make several intermediate clothing projects, and also make small quilts which were donated to our local hospital for newborn infants. Photography- I learned to be creative and unique. Yearbook-I was taught how to use several computer programs in a short amount of time in order to complete projects by a specific deadline. Advanced Dance- I learned how to be apart of a team, learn to speak up and take the lead. I have found out that I am highly interested in A LOT of completely different fields but I am passionate about the medical field, dental practice, animal rescue, and anything involving customer interaction.
