Jackie O.
Hi everybody! :) Thanks for taking a look at my stuff. My name is Jackie, I'm 20 years old and I live in a small town in Nevada, over in the United States. What can I say about myself? I'm a manager of a gas station at the grocery store I work at. I know-super exciting! Lol. I'm starting this blog really just for fun-I can talk about literally anything in the world. Starting with typical life problems of young adults; inappropriate sexual humor; my experiences with having epilepsy; my love for tattoos and piercings; my immense love for music, books, and movies. Hell I'll even talk about religion and politics. Anyone who knows me in person can say that I love debating on religion and politics. Especially religion. Here's why:
I'm an atheist! Now, before anyone gives me shit about it, I'll explain why I'm an atheist. First off, I grew up in a family full of non religious people, and "thank God" they didn't force anyone of us kids to go to church or be surrounded by church goers. I will probably make a post on my views on religion in the future and why I think atheists are the best people to be around, but not anytime soon haha :)
I suppose I could also put on here that I have Generalized Tonic-Clonic Epilepsy. What is it you may ask? In a nutshell, it's a neurological disorder that causes a person to have seizures. My type of epilepsy is literally the kind that causes the seizure that everyone sees on t.v.- the whole body shaking, face turning blue, and all that fun and exciting shit. I was diagnosed this last January 2015. As far as I know, there is no real known cause of epilepsy. Some doctors believe it's genetic, some believe its caused by mental disorders, and others think its just something that happens for no reason at all and that we just have to deal with it. Lovely doctors right? Haha.
Did I mention that I love tattoos and piercings? Only in just the last year have I started my tattoo and piercing collection. I have four tattoos and 6 piercings (use to be 7 piercings :( ) I'm just grateful that my work place allows us to show tattoos and piercings- a lot of places don't! That's one thing that irritates me the most is how corporations in general believe that tattoos and piercings are unprofessional and not tasteful. I think it's total bullshit if you ask me. A person defines their tattoos, their tattoos don't define them. Heh, there's another blog idea- talking about tattoos and piercings in general.
