My name is Jackleen Rios. I am a studio director and dance instructor in San Antonio, Texas. I specialize in a variety of dance forms, including:
-Ballet
-Jazz
-Hip-hop
-Urban expression
-Modern dance
At The Jewel of Art Dance Studio, I give people of all ages and technique levels the skills and confidence they need to master their chosen dance form.
I began my dance career at the age of 4, beginning with traditional ballet. I continued my dance career at the University of North Texas in Denton, where I graduated with a Bachelor's of Arts in Dance Cume Laude. I then went on to complete my Dance Certification for 8-12th grade and began my journey in dance education. In 2015, I graduated from The University of Texas San Antonio with a Master of Science in Health and Kinesiology.
I've performed in venues all over the Dallas/Ft Worth Metroplex, and displayed my choreography on the San Antonio's famous Arneson theater.
It is my goal to pass my skills on to my students, creating refined and brilliant dancers.
