Hard-working scientific academic interested in expanding on wide range of experience in research, clinical treatment and community outreach/impact by entering the field of Nursing.

My name is Jacklyn Krause and I am currently completing a Bachelor’s of Science in the Psychology department at the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a concentration in pre-medical studies and a minor in biology. After graduating in May 2017, I will be looking to begin pursuing a career in nursing that integrates hands-on, individualized patient care and community outreach. I have a strong background of research experience in a Psychology research lab and clinical experience in both the pediatric wing of a hospital and in a private podiatric practice. I also volunteer regularly in different realms of my local community working with diverse populations. My past experience both in healthcare and in various direct interaction with my community has inspired me to become the caring and determined individual I am today. I hope to continue my positive impact as a nurse.
