Jack M. Cohen is a veteran commercial real estate finance executive, strategic advisor, author, and mentor capitalist with over 44 years of experience shaping institutional lending, capital markets, and organizational leadership.

Cohen is best known for his leadership at Cohen Financial, where he served as CEO for 25 years, scaling annual loan production from $200 million to $6 billion and building a loan servicing portfolio exceeding $30 billion.

He currently serves as Managing Director at ArrowMark Partners, Head of Strategy at Saluda Grade, and mentors executives and entrepreneurs globally through his consultancy, Darkknight Ventures.

In 2024, Cohen published The Freedom Frameworks: Infinite Possibilities to Achieve Career Independence On Your Own Terms, offering practical frameworks for business, leadership, and strategic growth.
