As a kid I lived four blocks from old Comiskey Park on Chicago's South Side, close enough to see fireworks set off when the White Sox hit a rare home run. Now I go to the new park (and other Midwest arenas) as a award-winning writer and editor. I've worked for clients throughout North America, including a lengthy freelance association with the Chicago Tribune. Sports work has ranged from Major League Baseball to NBA, NHL, NFL, WNBA, Major League Soccer and NCAA Division I football, men's and women's basketball, hockey, wrestling and volleyball.
