Hey, I'm Jackson Barlow and I'm a Computer Systems Engineering student at the University of Georgia. In the picture, I'm the dog on the right, and the dog on the left is Titi. My family adopted Titi five years ago, and when we adopted her, the previous owner overfed her, so she was a little chunky. Me and titi shared that in common in 2020. Both me and Titi had poor eating habits, which led her veterinarian and my doctor to be concerned about our health. In 2021, I started eating a clean diet, consistently working out, and I treated my health as a priority. Despite many stumbling blocks on the difficult fitness journey, the trend was upward. Me and Titi went on frequent walks together, so we both transformed our health. I’ve been weight training consistently for about three years now, and I’ve lost over 60 lbs of fat, and put on 15 lbs of muscle. Weight training and bodybuilding is something that I’m very passionate about. Coming from a kid that used to be clinically obese, I never thought I’d build the self-confidence that I lacked in 2020. Building mental and physical discipline through my transformation helped me discover the potential that I have (and Titi has).
