Mark Jackson

Mark started off his higher education at Keele University studying English and philosophy. After that he undertook the law conversion course at the University of Birmingham to peruse a career in law.

After getting some practical work experience within the legal sector Mark realised that practical law wasn't for him. He decided to take a risk and peruse his dream of running an ecommerce store.

In 2013 Mark setup Spartan Music in his free time. The site sold low cost guitar pedals and accessories. Mark believed that musicians shouldn't just have the choice of "cheap and poor quality" and "quality but overpriced" equipment. Consequently Spartan Music attempted to find a niche between the two focusing on both reselling existing brands as well as creating new custom made products for the market.

One year after founding Spartan Music Mark was able to leave his part time job working in wholesale and peruse his dream full time. He is currently working on expanding the business even further.

In his free time Mark enjoys spending time with his family, playing the guitar, watching formula 1 racing and enjoying the outdoors.
