Jackson Tyler Eddy

I'm a photographer in Minneapolis. I've been making images professionally since 2009 — 17 years now — across commercial events, weddings, basketball courts, and Victorian architecture. It's an odd combination. I've stopped apologizing for it.

Most of the paid work is commercial. Four consecutive Super Bowls photographing brand activations for Nike, Fanatics, and NFL Shop. Tom Brady's dedicated photographer at the inaugural Fanatics × Make-A-Wish Experience. Lead photographer at Ernst & Young's Milestones for the Americas conference, two years running. Embedded with the Fanatics production team for the Super Bowl LIX Party. Clients include Nike, Fanatics, NFL Shop, NFLPA, Ernst & Young, Make-A-Wish, Airbnb, and the University of Minnesota.

The recognition has been a quiet kind of luck. Featured by National Geographic in its Daily Dozen. Tom Brady images published in People Magazine. An Old Man Hoopin drone shot of the Alice Marble courts in San Francisco was licensed by Brand USA for the Visit The USA national tourism campaign. Visit Saint Paul has licensed multiple Summit Avenue images and partnered on city guides, calendars, and Instagram takeovers. Featured by NBC, in BizBash, in Elle Decor, by FIBA, and in the Minneapolis Official Visitors Guide and Saint Paul Insider's Guide.

The wedding side of the work — A Frame Forward Photography — has held The Knot Hall of Fame, four-time Knot Best of Weddings, four-time WeddingWire Couples' Choice, and Greener Photography's Premiere Level certification, the highest eco-friendly photographer rating in Minnesota.

The personal projects keep me honest. Old Man Hoopin documents pickup basketball culture across America. Summit Avenue is the seasonal record of one of the longest preserved stretches of Victorian architecture in the country, in St. Paul. Both exist because I'm an artist first and a commercial photographer second.
