Jack Taylor
14 years ago, there was a very special moment in my life.
I WAS BORN. :)
Hi, my name is Jack. I'm 14 years old. I've been playing music since I was 5 years old, when I started piano. I picked up guitar when I was 8 or 9, and just played because I had to. I didn't like music very much... at ALL. To me, music was just another one of those things my parents made me do, like chores. Like homework. At least, I thought that way until summer of 2011. Now in that year of 2011, I'd seen a friend of mine totally ROCKIN' out to Ozzy's Crazy Train, and I'd also seen my Uncle jamming on some Steve Ray Vaughn blues, plus a lot of other magical musicians making great music - and as soon as summer started, I looked back on all these times and thought to myself, "Man. I wish I could do things like that." I started practicing guitar and piano non-stop from that moment on, and haven't put down either of them since. I go to school at Hope College's Path Program, and Parent Teacher Co-Op of Byron Center. I teach guitar lessons for all ages. And I love music. Thanks for reading!
