My American life came from a Good Living magazine. I was well on my way to the cookie-cutter American lifestyle with a job, house, family, and debt until I did what more than half of Americans don't do: got my passport.

I quit my job, sold my car, paid off my credit-card debt, said good-bye to my friends and moved to South Korea. After two years of working as an ESL teacher in Seoul, I have saved enough money to live free and live for myself.

My goal is to experience how the rest of the world lives and show my normal American friends and family through photography, video, and written stories that there was never anything to fear outside the border.

I also desire to give hope to those lost souls unsure of what they are looking for or where they are going; that they are not alone and that they are the few who are truly living life.
