Jack Ward
Music Industry Professional in London
I work across music, live events, artist development, production, and creative consultancy, operating within touring environments, studio settings, live performance, and culturally driven projects.
My background combines practical live industry experience with a strong focus on problem solving, communication, human behaviour, and identifying creative solutions in unconventional environments.
My experience includes time in studios such as Abbey Road Studios, Sarm Studios, Brit Row, alongside Sensible Studios, Star Studios, The Joint, and John Henry’s, giving me a real-world understanding of how music is created, developed, produced, and delivered from both technical and creative perspectives.
I’ve built and operated my own company delivering production and technical services to artists, while also organising large-scale live events and charity concerts supporting organisations including Cancer Research UK, Parkinson's UK, Amend, and Ups and Downs South West. Across live events and touring, I’ve worked around artists including Tony Hadley, Big Country, Steve Harley, Spandau Ballet, Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, The Everly Brothers, and Louise Redknapp, alongside festival environments such as Rewind Festival and Greenwich Summer Sessions, helping build a practical understanding of how high-pressure creative and touring environments operate behind the scenes. My early experience includes stepping on stage during The Shadows Final Tour soundcheck and performing as an opening act, alongside recording work in London with Dylan Burns.
More recently, I’ve worked as a guitar tech for Jesse Wood, son of Ronnie Wood, during Reef’s Ocean Festival headline performance, and alongside legendary Cypress Hill bassist Christian Olde Wolbers at festivals across the UK, Czech Republic, and Belgium. Alongside production and live events, I’ve increasingly focused on developing ideas and creative solutions around cultural communication, artist development, behavioural analysis, and audience engagement.
In 2023, while travelling near the Ukrainian border in Poland, conversations with refugees escaping the war between Ukraine and Russia inspired the early development of a concert and staging concept designed to encourage dialogue between ordinary people living on opposing sides of conflict. The concept explored how music, live production, and shared emotional experiences could be used as tools for communication beyond politics, propaganda, and division.
In 2024, conversations with individuals connected to county lines environments led me to begin exploring alternative approaches to talent discovery, recruitment, and youth engagement through music and culture. Rather than viewing underground movement purely through the lens of criminality, I became interested in how the same instincts surrounding communication, influence, networking, logistics, and cultural awareness could potentially be redirected into artist development, live events, and creative industries.
In 2025, I also provided specialist consultancy support to Mikey Bharj, advising on event strategy, audience engagement, and the application of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) techniques within the entertainment space. Mikey Bharj is widely recognised for his viral TikTok portrayal of the satirical Rory Sutherland character, alongside screen and writing credits including Terminator: Dark Fate, The Bill, Sticky, and Neon Tank.
Alongside this, I bring a strong foundation in psychology, communication, and human behaviour, shaped in part through my early autism diagnosis and becoming the first person in the UK to transition from specialist education back into mainstream education, helping pave the way for other autistic individuals.
Today, my work sits across music, artist development, live production, consultancy, cultural strategy, behavioural analysis, and creative problem solving - particularly in areas where communication, human behaviour, technology, and culture overlap.
I’m currently open to collaborating on projects and opportunities across music, live events, artist development, consultancy, and culturally driven creative projects.
For more information, or if you would like to discuss opportunities, please email me a brief summary explaining who you are, what you do, and who you do it for, and I will get back to you.
