Jacob Lee Hedman Launches Kickstarter Fundraiser for Feature Length Film Entitled In Search Of...
Drew and Steve are having girlfriend problems and decide to set out on a quest for fulfillment in spite of their drastically changing worlds. Their adventure quickly turns into a story of man vs beast and nature vs technology. The men experience a supernatural encounter while deer hunting and nearly run over a mysterious creature, which they believe may be a Bigfoot.
This feature film follows Drew and Steven's lives and relationships as they attempt to document and prove the existence of Bigfoot in Washington State. This is not just another Bigfoot film. The action sequences will feature illusive Bigfoot. They want to avoid making just another Bigfoot movie so they are going to make Bigfoot suits by turning chroma key green fabrics into ghille suits and then filling them in with content in post-production.
Chroma key fabric is the super super fluorescent green material that is used in special effects shots usually for backdrops; a subject is filmed in front of the chroma key backdrop and then in post-production an effect is added such as a city street. In this production they will use the concept in reverse. They will create a ghillie suit out of chroma key green material which is generally a camouflage suit created to look like the surrounding wilderness.

The Bigfoot themselves will be played by athletic free-runners, or parkouring athletes. Those are the amazing guys who often compete in competitions by running through different courses and terrain like a real-life spiderman. They are putting the parkouring athletes into chroma key green ghillie suits and filming them in scenes such as them running through the forest jumping over trees and giant rocks, ascending cliffs and traversing ravines with fluid like precision. Then in post-production, filling the chroma key in with special effects content to make the Bigfoot action look more natural and real than any other Bigfoot movies.
