I'm an artist, a dreamer, a creative. I grow and I adapt. Despite having graduated with a degree in digital cinema, I consider myself a student in that I am always trying to learn, to show something unique. My goal is to truly help people -- be it with humor, empathy, or simply being there. I have studied abroad several times, which has expended my outlook on life and broadened my cultural understanding. In early 2007 I took part in a study of urban China. This consisted of one week in Hong Kong and another week in Beijing. The focus was on people and their ability to adapt as well as their lives in the communities they were parts of. From September 2007 until August 2008 I studied in Nagasaki City, Japan. This was an amazing experience that taught me a lot about customs & community in Japan. The simple idea of being in another culture is mesmerizing for me. In January 2012, I went with the University of Wisconsin-Superior Acapella choir to Italy. Not only did I perform with choir as locations such as St. Peter's Basillica and St. Francis of Assisi, but I took both video and still photos during the tour to use in the production of my college capstone documentary project, Voci Capriccio.
