I am a student currently living in Swansea, United Kingdom. My interests range from singing to Musical Theatre. I am also interested in dance and acting.

I am currently in my second year of studying Level 3 BTEC Performing Arts at Gower College Swansea. In my first year, we studied a variety of different units, for example ‘Principles of Acting’ and ‘Performance Workshop.’ I particularly enjoyed ‘Devising in Performance’ which allowed us to create theatre from various stimuli. As part of the assignment, I developed my leadership skills, and needed quick thinking for ways of physically telling a story. I was lucky enough to be able to draw upon my varied workshop experiences with companies such as Forced Entertainment, Frantic Assembly and Volcano. I also really enjoyed our ‘Theatre in Education’ unit where we produced a Primary school tour, for the Foundation phase, based on “Pirates.” Within this project, I developed my script and song writing skills and, during the tour, I needed to adapt quickly to the different school environments. Our final major project was Brecht’s “The Caucasian Chalk Circle,” where I played the role of Simon Chachava. During this process, I developed my physical and vocal characterisation skills, and it was interesting and challenging to adapt my performance to suit the Brechtian style.

I havemusical theatre experience in many productions, such as “Grease” and “A ChorusLine.” Here, my dance and singing skills developed, as well as my knowledge ofdifferent styles of dance. I have also seen a number of different shows andplays such as "In the Heights", "The Life", and "TheCurious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time", and I am very excited tobe going to watching "Hamilton" next July, watching shows helpsbroaden my knowledge of theatre and allows me to explore different genres andstyles of performance. I have also taken part in manyworkshops, with industry professionals that include Gareth Mitchell, RichardMylan, Morgan Thomas, and Christina Modestou. Such workshops ranged from‘Acting’ to ‘Fosse.’ One of my most memorable moments was performing inthe UEFA opening ceremony with The Black Eyed Peas (Commercial Dance)(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xz-WshoaRM0) as wellas successfully auditioning for County Youth Contemporary Dance Company whichboth really improved my general movement and confidence in dance. I have alsoperformed in a large number of Musical Theatre Cabaret’s for example “HelloCabaret”.
