Jacob Dreyer

I have spent several years researching urbanism in contemporary China, and the possibilities that the new urban structure offers for subjectivity. My work has been conducted in academic forums as well as in the critique of contemporary art; at the moment, I am working on a book for Eros Press to be titled "The Nocturnal Wanderer."

I will be delighted to correspond on the idea of socialism in architecture, the concept of population, and the re-articulation of a Nietzschean critique of the contemporary.

Based in Shanghai, I periodically pass through Beijing, Hong Kong, New York, London; I am presently very interested in the idea of collaborative work.
