Hey there, I’m Jacob. I’m a student living in Royse City Texas. I am a fan of movies, fitness, and travel.

I have not felt that education is a helpful tool in the real world other than basic education. Unless you're in a profession that requires some complex education you don't need most of what you learn in school even then you would only use half of what you learned for that profession. Most real education comes from life experiences and learning the ropes as you go. Education is futile in the real world.

I believe literacy means you can type write and comprehend things you read or are told. In this day and age being literate means you can operate a computer and use a keyboard to type. The literacy standard has gone down because everything is supposed to be easier now.

I believe a good work ethic is hard work and consistency in your profession as well as problem solving skills and a good attitude. My dad has influenced my work ethic. He never went to college and was in a bad situation out of high school but because of his work ethic he is now in a much better position. A good work ethic looks like a hard working person that does their best everyday and goes above and beyond in their tasks. Work ethic can inspire others around you as well attract the attention of your superiors and help you succeed. In the adult world you can't succeed by doing the bare minimum. To be noticed you must have a good work ethic which will help you climb the ladder of promotions and be noticed by your bosses.

My next steps for my future are to find a profession I at least like a little bit. I do not care about certificates I just want to succeed in something and become wealthy. I would like to learn whatever skills I need to be successful in whatever profession I choose.

I have been recognized for a good work ethic and not turning down opportunities. I have no rewards. I have not been an officer in a club. I have received my CDL.
