Jacob Pajarillo is a classically trained guitarist with experience performing for various musical outfits and composing music for other artists. His background in popular musical performance, music composition, and classical guitar training informs his boundless creativity as an artist. Jacob is passionate about his musical talent and lyrical storytelling of facts from photographic memory. A “lifelong learner” who started his music degree at the University of Santo Tomas as a teenage hobbyist, he is also an adept singer and multi-instrumentalist.

Jacob's musical journey from being an informal karaoke singer at age seven to becoming a self-taught singer-guitarist in high school after “flunking out” of his first few piano and guitar lessons at age nine in favor of his interest in sports and fitness, he was able to prove himself in college as a bona fide Conservatory student at the University of Santo Tomas who majored in classical guitar. His passion, talent, and aptitude for music in the Conservatory have led him to explore his abilities as a lyricist, composer, multi-instrumentalist, choir member, and band member outside of school. His talent as a classical guitarist was nonetheless recognized by his professors and peers in the Conservatory, which led him to play for various ensembles and to perform for the masterclasses of renowned classical guitarists like Joseph Mirandilla and Miguel Trapaga.

Jacob is deeply influenced by popular culture, politics, science, and history; all of which inform his ethos as a musician, composer, and lyricist who started out as a hobbyist. Jacob is currently working as a freelance session musician and songwriter for various artists while pursuing mountaineering and online shopping as hobbies.
