Hey there, I’m Jacob. I’m a mechanical engineer living in Ohio. I am a fan of entrepreneurship, DIY, and design. I’m also interested in education and woodworking. You can visit my store with a click on the button above.

Jacob’s background is in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on mass manufacturing and automation. He spent four years as a CNC process engineer at Alcoa, fine-tuning high-volume production systems. Back in uni, he got his hands dirty building off-road vehicles in the Baja SAE program at Case Western Reserve.

Since Jacob took the reins of TrueTrac, we’ve brought most of our manufacturing in-house—adding two CNC mills and other specialized equipment to keep quality tight and turnaround fast. We still work with trusted local suppliers for our aluminum and plastic extrusions.

In 2019, we added the TrueTrac Router Gantry System to our lineup, expanding what we can offer.

At the end of the day, we just want to make tools you’ll love using. We care about getting it right and making sure you're happy because if you’re building something, it should feel good to use gear that’s built right too.
