I am a psychiatrist, practicing for 34 years in Cambridge, MA. I work with my husband, Richard Schwartz MD in a joint office space. We have written three books together, and now, with a team, we are working on an invention that can improve the lives of people whether or not they have a psychiatric diagnosis.

We now have a tracker named the Sunsprite. You can learn more about this on www.SunSprite.com. The invention is actually a wearable sensor for "bright light." It allows people to get their morning dose of bright light, either from a light box or sunlight, and know when they have gotten the right dose proven by research to be beneficial for energy, focus and sleep. Then a smartphone app will graph their data. Usually, the beneficial results can be felt within 3 days, and a "clinical" improvement in mood will be felt within three weeks.
