Apostle Jacqueline D. Rucker was born on December 13, 1959 to the late Robert & Jane Meredith, of Wilton, Connecticut. is founder of Junia Ministries. Junia was founded in the fall of 2005 with her husband, the most honorable Bishop Ray Alan Rucker Sr. August. 31, 2013 - August. 23, 1955, Apostle J.D.Rucker is the mother of nine children and 8 granddaughters and hundreds of Godchildren across the Nation. Apostle Rucker gave her life to the Lord at the age of thirteen. At the age of 18 she experienced a mighty move of God in her life, the inner pouring of the Holy Spirit from that moment it activated a call upon her life, After her conversion she sat quietly under a doctrine that failed to recognize her calling and gifts because of its postion on Women preachers. Revival broke forth and Apostle Rucker stepped out in faith and boldly proclaimed to the world, "God has called women". Her passion and hunger for five fold ministry and Kingdom has led her to travel overseas, and grace the pulpit of Pastor Shirley Caesar, Pastor Sherly Brady, Pastor Paula White, Bishop T.D. Jakes and the late Bishop G.E. Patterson. Apostle Rucker has received "The Woman of Excellence" award from Bishop Boyd of New York. One of the highest honors to be given by the church of councils was presented to Apostle Rucker for her outstanding program called "A Touch of Love" for feeding the hungry. Also, the state of North Carolina rewarded her a certificate for implementing a program for a women's shelter. She has a mentoring program called " Junia Daughters". Apostle J.D. Rucker has written several books, "I've Been Broken", "Can You Stand to be Blessed?", "What Are You Doing in Prison", & "Command Your Morning" & one play, "We Believe". The Lord instructed Apostle Rucker to start "A Soaking Place", in 2011. Apostle J.D. Rucker is a truly blessed woman of God, where God sends her to minister to his people she does just that. One of Apostle's favorite quotes are: "It Pays to OBEY", and truly the woman of God obeys the Lord. Her teaching and preaching of Kingdom Principles and Precepts with a fervor that is breaking down the gates of hell. Her ministry is relational and dynamic with a heart for those laid to waste by religion and legalistic abuse.
