Jacqueline Brenner

I'm a soon-to-be recent graduate from the University of California, Santa Cruz with a B.S. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, and Minor in Film and Digital Media. I currently work as a lab technician in the Earth and Planetary Sciences' Biogeochemistry Lab, as well as a student media assistant with UCSC's Learning Technologies. I am looking for work, both temporary and permanent in California or Arizona, preferably in the Los Angeles or Long Beach area. I have experience interning and volunteering in lab and field settings - fishing, taking DNA samples, scale samples, water samples, restoring chaparral habitat, planting, weeding, watering, supervising volunteers, photo-monitoring, data entry, feeding, cleaning, and walking rehabilitated wildlife and even working hands-on with marine invertebrates in science education. I'm also tech-savvy and worked as an Internet Marketing Intern and Social Media Contributor for Move.com and Realtor.com. In addition, I worked for the UCSC Film and Digital Media Department in film and audio equipment rentals and demonstrations. I am proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and the Adobe Creative Suite. Please contact me if you have any leads for positions in biology-related lab or field work, marketing, or audio/visual support.
