I wanted to be a dancer and an engineer when I was a child. I've managed to include both in my life! And then I became a teacher. I've lectured in Information Systems, Educational technology and Process and Process Engineering.

My curiosity has also led me into research, and I studied combustion engineering, ICT, and now I'm answering my questions in the field of technology, social media and learning. I'm hopefully going to get a PhD this time. I have way too many Masters degrees.

Another interest is Internet Governance and policy, and I've been involved in that since 2003, with WGIG, ICANN, IGF and regional capacity building and outreach. It's not my primary interest anymore, though.

I still linger on the fringes of the performance arena. Most of my friends are artists, performers, producers. I direct video productions for live shows from time to time, to keep my hand in, even though it isn't my primary job anymore. When it was... that was so much fun.

I think that's me in a kind of large nutshell.
