Jacqueline hails from the fair county of Dorset. Home to authors Thomas Hardy and William Blake, the dialect poet. She spent twenty years raising four wonderful children. They have flown the nest and are on their own paths in life. She has spent the past seven years travelling with her sainted better half, John and they have decided to settle for a while and pursue several projects and take the opportunity to write, stitch and continue to enjoy whatever life brings her way.

They have purchased a house in the wonderful region of Galicia, Spain and together they are taking on the mammoth task of renovating a barn, folly and half a mountain.

She has written articles for magazines and her stories, poetry have been published internationally. She has been shortlisted for the Fish prize and with her online writer's group published a book 'Distant Voices, Talking Drums'.

Her creative textiles have won her the 'Cascade Trophy' and she has been able to earn her living from textiles.
