Serial entrepreneur, strategic consultant, and frequently requested speaker Jacques Habra entered the world of Internet start-ups in 1995, building website development firm Web Elite, LLC, into a leading enterprise with offices in Michigan, New York, and California. Winner of a FastTrack Business Award in 1997 and a Great Lakes Interactive Marketing Association Gold Award in 2001, the company assisted General Motors, Wells Fargo, Sun Microsystems, Inc., and other top firms in developing online strategies.
Jacques Habra sold Web Elite in 2002 to concentrate on Noospheric, LLC, a private equity and consulting agency he had launched the previous year. The company counsels entrepreneurs on comprehensive business and investment matters. Jacques Habra’s other ventures include HIP Properties, established in 1998 to manage real estate holdings, and First Click, Inc., founded in 2007. As owner of the First Click, he provides online marketing and expert search-engine optimization services, garnering higher search rankings and targeted-traffic levels for clients.
Additional business enterprises of Mr. Habra range from SBclick, LLC, a merchant delivery mechanism, to Phone Halo, LLC, which develops proprietary mobile applications that include device tracking and interaction software. As a speaker, Mr. Habra provides insight at technology symposia, seminars, university events, and private lectures. He moderated an MIT Enterprise Forum, provided the keynote address at a Santa Barbara Mobile Meet-Up event, and has presented to numerous other audiences, including top high school entrepreneurs, the Latino Business Association at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and the American Advertising Federation.
Jacques Habra graduated with distinction from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Philosophy. He serves on several boards, including for Westmont College Foundation, MIT Enterprise Forum Central Coast, and The Rivera Association. Mr. Habra also supports Big Brothers Big Sisters of America and formerly served as Vice President and on the board of Catalyst for Thought: Events and Resources for Entrepreneurs in Santa Barbara.
