Jade Orsa

Baker in La Rochelle

As a left-wing candidate who loves bread and wine, I believe in the power of simple pleasures and communal experiences to bring people together. My campaign is focused on creating a more equitable and compassionate society where everyone can enjoy life's simple pleasures without fear of economic insecurity or social isolation.

I believe in the importance of good food and drink as a cornerstone of our culture and a source of joy and nourishment for all. That's why I'm committed to fighting for policies that support small farmers, sustainable agriculture, and local food systems. I also believe in the power of community-supported agriculture and community gardens to create a sense of shared responsibility and connection to the land.

At the same time, I recognize that food insecurity and poverty are real problems that many people face every day. That's why I'm committed to expanding access to healthy and nutritious food for all, regardless of income or social status. I believe in the power of food banks, soup kitchens, and other community-based initiatives to help address hunger and promote food justice.
