Jae is an Illinois native with a love for the music, art and all things creative. When she was 4 years old, she sang along to the likes of Chaka Khan with her mother. However, it was not until pop diva Mariah Carey released her first album that Jae became enamored with singing. Interestingly, the only time she sang was in the privacy of her own bedroom. Jae was extremely nervous to let others hear her sing.
In 2006, that ended when she entered her first vocal contest in which she came in second place. She entered more contests where she won various prizes.

Jae was recently on the ABC 7 Chicago morning television show, Windy City Live, as one of the 12 finalists in their Dare to Dream Search for a Star singing contest. While she did not win the competition, the producers invited her back to sing Adele's "Skyfall" for their Oscars show. Her performance was met with lots of positive feedback. Outside of singing in competitions, Jae also performs at open mics around Chicago-land. She is currently working as a backup singer for a former American Idol top-three contestant/actress, and she is also working with local musicians to produce and distribute her own music.
Her musical influences include Adele, Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, Barbara Streisand, Donna Summer, Aretha Franklin, Chaka Khan and jazz greats Phyllis Hyman, Sarah Vaughn, Billie Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald. Jae loves and sings all genres of music. She is available to sing at special events including weddings, parties and fundraisers.
